This simple Thanksgiving card has a turkey in the center, wearing a pilgrim’s hat and collar. The turkey is colored on maroon, orange, and white (Merlot Merlot and Pumpkin Pie), just like the HokieBird.I used the Black Glaze pen to make the eyes shine.
I used the double stamping technique, where you stamp your image, add color, and then stamp it again to make the outlines crisp again. It worked so well that I wish I had taken a before photo. I considered adding a greeting, but decided that it would distract from the turkey.
I do not typically think about selling my cards, but I bet I could sell these here in Blacksburg!
