This is my first try at making something with distress crayons. Not the best in the world, but then first attempts rarely are.
I created the background with the three Distress Crayons, for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (#SSSWChallenge) Background Challenge. I blended the colors with a watercolor brush. I let the paper dry completely.
I added the snowflakes in Wilted Violet, stamping each three times to make the image bold enough to stand out on the background. Next, I stamped the sentiment in Black Soot, but it wasn’t dark enough. I switched to Versafine to get a bolder image. Once the Versafine dried, I added the Sparkle pen on top to make the letters stand out.
