I had two goals for this card. First, I realized that the Art in Bloom stamp set was retiring and I had never used it. Second, I wanted to try out a technique from a Jennifer McGuire video on Easy, Bold Background Coloring Tips and Timesavers!
It turned out that the Art in Bloom set wasn’t ideal for the strategy. Check out the image below the materials list to see what it looked like. The jagged edges of the flowers looked unpolished at first. To save the card, I rounded and smoothed out the edges of the flowers with the Black Blend.
